Ferns and Wrens square mulberry silk scarf
This brilliant work by Lorena gives a glimpse in to the varied vegetation of Australia. The artwork is inspired by soft tree fern and gum tree commonly found in the South Eastern parts and moister forests like Tasmania, along with the beautiful Superb Fairy-wren -a song bird of Maluridae bird family and is common and familiar across south-eastern Australia. The species is sedentary and territorial, also exhibiting a high degree of sexual dimorphism.

I've only worn my new scarf a few times since I got it and every time I do, someone notices it and comments on how beautiful it is (even before I unravel it and show them the images). It's more of a peachy colour than pink which I'm super happy with and dresses up all my non-printed outfits.
