Spider Lily Silk Scarf by Lorena

There are about 100 species in Spider Lily genus and one might argue they are from Africa, but about 5 of the species are native to Australia. Lorena's artwork looks like these beauties are in full bloom on a clear summer day down under. The bright red  large bulbous perennial herb flowers between November and March and makes a great backyard beauty. Oh and they are pleasantly perfumed. Honestly, anything with a 'Spider' prefix must be a native to Australia by default!
